Tel Aviv is the second largest city in Israel and is located on the coast washed by the gentle waves of the Mediterranean Sea. Tel Aviv is a mix of two worlds, it is a combination of the ancient, Arabic Jaffa, full of winding streets with cosy bars and galleries, and Tel Aviv, established at the beginning of the 20th century and inhabited by Jews. It is one of the most important cities in Israel, a centre of financial, economic and scientific endeavours.

Tel Aviv Jaffa is the richest metropolis in the state of Israel. It is inhabited by nearly half a million people. The secular part of the city delights with its modern buildings located by the sea and in the centre, and seduces visitors with opportunities of having great fun in numerous clubs, bars and on wide, sandy beaches, encouraging them with its unique artistic atmosphere. There is a lot to see and do in Tel Aviv, however, it is a very expensive city, by Mediterranean standards, so expect a hefty bill by the end of a holiday!
