Park Inn by Radisson and MV WERFTEN open unique ship-inspired hotel in Germany´s historic city of Wismar

Park Inn by Radisson – Radisson Hotel Group’s upper midscale hotel brand that delivers stress-free experiences, good food and upbeat environments – is proud to announce the opening of a 98-room hotel in Wismar, northern Germany.

All the rooms have been created by the city’s shipyard MV WERFTEN Fertigmodule and feature a unique ship’s cabin design.

Located in the district known for the golden age of the Hanseatic League, the Park Inn by Radisson Wismar has opened its doors. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman & CEO of Genting Hong Kong and owner of MV WERFTEN; Oliver Behrendt, Managing Director of MV WERFTEN; and Thomas Beyer, Wismar’s Mayor symbolically cut the blue ribbon in front of the hotel entrance at a ceremony attended by more than 150 specially invited guests.

Park Inn by Radisson Set to Sail into Germany’s Historic Port City of Wismar

Radisson Hotel Group is pleased to announce the signing of the new Park Inn by Radisson Wismar, in Northern Germany, with the property set to open in Q3 2019. The historic city of Wismar boasts one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval town centres, while the old city district from the golden age of the Hanseatic League has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002.

Following the lead of the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson Hotels in Lübeck and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Rostock, this new property in Wismar will be the fourth hotel to be operated by the Radisson Hotel Group on the German Baltic coast. As a destination, Wismar attracts more than 2.4m visitors every year. The city is especially popular for its location on the Baltic Sea and its sights dating back to the Hanseatic era.

Park Inn by Radisson opens in Berchem, Belgium

Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Hotel Group’s upper midscale hotel brand that delivers stress-free experiences, good food and upbeat environments, is proud to announce the opening of a 142-room hotel in Berchem in the Antwerp province. This opening brings the group’s Belgian portfolio to 14 hotels and more than 1,900 rooms in operation, with another hotel and 110 rooms under development.

Located at the edge of the largest city in Flanders, and at the intersection of roads approaching Antwerp, Park Inn by Radisson Berchem opens its doors in the Green Lung of Antwerp. The hotel provides easy access to Antwerp – situated on the outskirts of the city but within walking distance of a train and bus station, near to multiple tram lines and a stone’s throw from Deurne airport.

The Radisson Hotel Group, is adding a new location for the Park Inn by Radisson portfolio of hotels with the signing of Park Inn by Radisson Tashkent City Hotel & Apartments in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Park Inn by Radisson Opens Hotel in Southern São Paulo, Brazil

Park Inn by Radisson, has opened the Park Inn by Radisson Berrini in the south zone of São Paulo at Rua Quintana, 934 Brooklin Novo, São Paulo. The 171-room hotel is near several affluent neighbourhoods and districts including Vila Olímpia and Morumbi. Hotel guests have easy access to shopping malls, business and financial districts, restaurants, nightlife and public transportation hubs including the Berrini train station. Complimentary shuttle services are also available to nearby districts.
