Hyatt to debut the Andaz brand in Florida with vibrant Miami Beach hotel

Following a property-wide renovation, luxury lifestyle hotel Andaz Miami Beach is slated to open in late 2024, with reimagined spaces, programming and a new culinary collaboration with Jose Andrés Group.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, announced an update on the anticipated renovation of The Confidante Miami Beach and its complete transformation into the new Andaz Miami Beach, which is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2024. The new hotel, which is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc., will go beyond the familiar to discover and define guests’ personal essence while immersing themselves in the spirit of the eclectic culture around them through a barrier-free redesigned lobby, two reconceptualized pools and outdoor recreation experience, an exhilarating spa, inspiring guestrooms, suites and meeting spaces, and immersive dining experiences with the hotel’s new culinary provider, José Andrés Group. As part of the hotel’s transformation the iconic oceanfront property will temporarily suspend operations starting Monday, March 25, 2024, through the conclusion of the renovation.

Andaz Nanjing Hexi celebrates official opening

Hyatt Hotels in association with Sun Hung Kai Properties have confirmed the opening of Andaz Nanjing Hexi, the fourth Andaz property in the region. It is located in the rapidly developing Hexi central business district area and is ideal for exploring the city and local area.

Czech Republic welcomes its first Andaz hotel...

Andaz Prague Opens!

The first Hyatt hotel in the Czech Republic has recently opened in Prague,  the property is the fifth of the Andaz brand in Europe and represents a major milestone opening in Hyatt's expansion places.  

The hotel is located on Senovážné Square, within the magnificent and historical ‘Sugar Palace’ that dates back to 1916, originally built for the influential Sugar Industry Insurance Association. The building has since been carefully restored and preserved. In typical Andaz style, the 176 room hotel retains an ambience of local lifestyle experience woven into the fabric of the local culture. 

Andaz Prague has deep roots to the city of Prague and is currently an extension of Prague’s thriving arts, cultural and fashion scene. With Josefov, Prague’s Jewish quarter known for its rich history, and the commercial hub of New Town nearby, along with inspiring museums, incredible architecture and a variety of local shops to enjoy, Andaz Prague offers guests the very best of its locale.

176 thoughtfully-designed rooms and suites capture and combine the city’s rich heritage with modern creativity to deliver a luxurious respite with breathtaking city views. The rooms offer comfortable beds, many of which are guarded by Bruncvík’s lion atop the blue velvet bedposts, which is a reference to one of many Czech legends that inspired the entire concept of the property.

Guests can experience Prague's bohemian luxury with a plethora of beautiful suites, including the spacious, corner Residence Suites that feature windows that open to views of Prague’s Dancing Fountain. The palatial 1,400 square foot (130 square meters) Penthouse Suite offers stylish, handcrafted furnishings, ornate mouldings, a marble fireplace and an exquisite sunroom.

Guests and locals will delight in a modern Czech bistronomy within ZEM, which serves a combination of bistro dishes created with haute cuisine methods. Local ingredients coming from Moravia and Bohemia are crafted into modern versions of Czech comfort food through, using high-quality ingredients and natural flavours. The menu also honours the influences of authentic Nikkei, which include Japanese meat dishes from the charcoal grill and handmade dumplings.

The standalone MEZ bar delivers an exhilarating atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The signature cocktails, infused with local ingredients, are inspired by the historical figures of Prague.

The Andaz Studios include three flexible event spaces that can accommodate anything from boardroom meetings to intimate private dinners, or can be combined into one large 1,615 square foot (150 square meters) space for conferences, receptions and corporate events.  

The unique meeting spaces are inspired by Prague's bygone sugar barons that used the building in the early 20th century. Meeting spaces Collegium 1 and 2 feature magnificent, high, ornate ceilings and oak parquet flooring, with sunlight flooding these rooms through their grand windows.

Hyatt Announces Plans for Andaz Lisbon

New luxury lifestyle hotel is the second planned Hyatt hotel in Lisbon and marks the continued growth of the Andaz brand in key European destinations

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced this week that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Feuring Hotel Lissabon GmbH & Co. KG for the first Andaz hotel in Lisbon. Expected to open in 2024, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – named one of the world’s best destinations in 2019 – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon following the planned opening of Hyatt Regency Lisbon in 2022.

Located in the centre of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 169 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique layout will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic regional elements of Lisbon that stimulate the senses.

The luxury lifestyle hotel brand Andaz continues to grow across Europe with new property set to open in Prague

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has confirmed today that the luxury lifestyle brand Andaz will continue its European expansion programme with the addition of a new property in the Czech Republic. The new Andaz Prague, located at Senovážné Square, only a short walk from Prague’s world-famous Old Town is expected to open in 2022.

Hyatt Announces Plans for Andaz Macau

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that with Galaxy Entertainment Group it will develop a new Andaz property in Macau, China. The hotel, expected to open in the first half of 2021 as part of the ever-expanding Galaxy Integrated Resorts precinct, will mark the entry of the Andaz brand into Macau.

Andaz Macau will comprise over 700 rooms and suites, an Andaz Lounge, a bar and restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and an indoor pool. The hotel is directly connected to Galaxy International Convention Center and 16,000-seat Galaxy Arena with a dedicated private lounge catering to large Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions (MICE) groups. Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere opens - the first for Andaz in Austria

Hyatt Hotels are celebrating the opening of the Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere, marking the Andaz brand’s entry into Austria. 

The hotel actually opened on April 30th and is located in the new Quartier Belvedere and is inspired by Austria’s grand historic personality and the man behind the iconic Belvedere Palace, Prince Eugene of Savoy. Hyatt announce plans for Andaz Toronto – Yorkville.....In what is tipped to be Canada's tallest building.

Hyatt’s luxury Andaz brand expected to make Toronto debut in 2022 with a new hotel located at The One, set to be the tallest building in Canada.

Hyatt Hotels announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Mizrahi Developments to build a 160-room luxury Andaz hotel at the prestigious address of One Bloor Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

Slated to open in 2022, the first Andaz hotel in Toronto will be the hotel component of The One, a commercial and residential luxury mixed-use tower that is expected to be the tallest building in Canada.  Situated at the iconic intersection of Yonge and Bloor streets, the new Andaz Toronto – Yorkville will enable guests to enjoy the vibrancy of midtown’s high-end Yorkville neighbourhood.

Hyatt Hotels has agreed with a local management group for the development of an Andaz branded hotel on the Palm Jumeirah.

The hotel will be occupying some prime real estate on the world-famous man-made island, Andaz Dubai The Palm is planned to open in the last quarter of 2019, becoming the first Andaz branded hotel in Dubai and the second Andaz hotel in the United Arab Emirates, joining Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi.
