InterContinental Hotels Group® (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has signed a management agreement with Riteway and Medha Projects to bring a Holiday Inn Resort to the state of Karnataka. Offering 126 well-appointed rooms, Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats is expected to open its doors to guests in Q1 2023.

Underscoring industry confidence despite challenging times, this is the second signing announced by IHG in India in last three months.

Located on the Western Ghats mountain range, in the state of Karnataka, Sakleshpur is in close proximity to Bengaluru, and is a great destination for leisure travellers looking to spend quality time amidst nature or explore various historic monuments and sites the city has to offer.

Located 6 kilometres from the main Bengaluru and Mangalore highway, on opening, Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats will offer varied dining options to guests with four F&B outlets, including an All-Day Dining, a bar, a speciality restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel will also feature 518 sqm of meetings space across three venues, including a 359 sqm ballroom well suited for various MICE events. The resort will feature a pool, a fitness centre and a spa for guests to relax and rejuvenate. For travellers driving down from the nearby cities, Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats will feature ample parking space. Multimillion-Dollar Renovation Completed at Holiday Inn – Houston Intercontinental Airport

Holiday Inn Johannesburg Sunnyside Park Hotel opens

IHG Hotels & Resorts®, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, opens the newly refurbished Holiday Inn Johannesburg Sunnyside Park Hotel situated in the leafy suburb of Parktown, Johannesburg. First IHG hotel to open in North Poland: Say hello to the Holiday Inn Gdansk – City Centre

IHG - the InterContinental Hotels Group, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, will open its first hotel in the Northern part of Poland at the beginning of July: the Holiday Inn Gdansk – City Centre. The hotel will be opened in cooperation with IHG’s long-standing development partner UBM Development AG and underscores IHG’s rapid growth in the market. It marks the fifth hotel opening within the last 3 years.

Holiday Inn Gdansk – City Centre is located on the Granary Island, a unique urban concept assembled by the mouth of Motlawa river on the famous Wyspa Spichrzow. The modern building features 240 spacious guest rooms on seven floors, 5 conference rooms, a 24/7 gym, IHG’s Open Lobby concept and a breath-taking Sky Bar. It is centrally located and in close proximity to the city’s most iconic historical landmarks.

Holiday Inn Gdansk – City Centre is the 53rd hotel developed by UBM Development AG. Based on a Forward Purchase Agreement the hotel was sold to Union Investment in January 2018 and will be fully integrated in Union Investment’s portfolio in the third quarter. The property will be managed by IHG. The hotel provides approximately 60 permanent full-time jobs and additional seasonal employment opportunities.
