Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) has delivered an ACJ319neo, powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines, to a new West European undisclosed private customer from the final assembly line in Hamburg. The aircraft will be managed by Jet Aviation and will be available for charter flights.
 
“This demonstrates the value of the ACJ319neo for the business aviation market! The aircraft’s latest technology engines and Sharklets enable even longer intercontinental flights* in the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky, while delivering at least 20 per cent fuel-saving and excellent economics combined with a robust 99.9 % operational reliability,” says Airbus Corporate Jets President, Benoit Defforge.
 
The ACJ319neo joins more than 2,200 A320neo and A321neo aircraft already in service with airlines around the world. Airbus supports more than 500 customers and operators through a worldwide network of field service, spares and training centres, complemented by services tailored to the needs of private jet operators.
 
More than 210 Airbus corporate jets are in service worldwide, flying on every continent, and more than 1,800 private and business aviation Airbus helicopters are in service globally.
 
* In 2019 the first green ACJ319neo successfully completed a 16 hrs. and 10 min test-flight, setting a new record for the longest A320 Family flight by an Airbus crew.

ACJ highlights the ACJ319neo from K5-Aviation at NBAA




Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) is exhibiting at NBAA-BACE 12-14 October for the first time ever showcasing an ACJ319neo from K5-Aviation. K5-Aviation is the largest Airbus operator in Europe with four ACJ319s in its fleet and is preparing to operate two ACJ widebodies soon . 
 
“Our ACJ aircraft offer the best comfort, with the most specious cabins that are widely appreciated by our customers and operators. K5-Aviation’s ACJ319neo will turn heads at the show with contemporary luxury styling in each of the four cabin zones- it is a real beauty!,”  said ACJ President, Benoit Defforge.
 
The ACJ319neo from K5-Aviation features four large living areas with lie flat beds, king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom and stand-up shower, as well as a 55” TV. Customers will enjoy a brand-new in-flight entertainment system and high-speed Wi-Fi for smooth video streaming and video calls to stay connected and entertained during the flight.
 
Also showcased at the event is the ACJ TwoTwenty cabin immersive presentation that customers will be able to discover via a VR experience.  These will be located in the ACJ/ACH Chalet at the Henderson Airport static display. 
 
Nearly 200 Airbus corporate jets are in service worldwide, flying on every continent, including Antarctica, and more than 1,800 private and business aviation Airbus helicopters are in service worldwide.

ACJ teams up with Latécoère for a unique and smart  IFE solution


 Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) and Latécoère Interconnection Systems (LIS) have signed a partnership agreement to develop a new and unique In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) technology - “The ACJ Smart LiFi Monitor”. 

LiFi (Light Fidelity) is the latest wireless communication technology which uses light to transmit data. With this agreement, ACJ becomes the pioneer and only aircraft manufacturer to offer the next generation of communication systems technology on-board a corporate aircraft.

The ACJ Smart LiFi Monitor offers a unique entertainment experience and was designed  to be an easy plug and play solution. It is a multi-technology smart 4K monitor offering Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and  LiFi connectivity. It will allow analog audio output, USBc ports as well as HDMI connections. Features include Audio Video On Demand (AVOD), casting, mirroring, web browser, live TV and its own integrated video conferencing.

ACJ wins order for the ACJ319neo


                     Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) has won an additional ACJ319neo order with an undisclosed customer, highlighting the market appeal for this aircraft that offers a unique flying experience with its spacious cabin and intercontinental range. The ACJ319neo will be equipped with CFM International's LEAP-1A engines. 


“We are delighted to win another order for the ACJ319neo. Customers will enjoy travelling in the spacious cabin whilst flying intercontinental routes. The ACJ319neo has a robust reliability. Customers will as well benefit from a higher passenger capacity with exceptional comfort and similar operating costs to traditional business jets because of more cost-efficient maintenance, training, and better value,” said Benoit Defforge, ACJ President.

With the ability to fly eight passengers 6,750 nm/12,500 km or 15 hours, the ACJ319neo will bring much of the world within nonstop range. Deliveries of the ACJ319neo started in 2019 and three are already in operation with three customers.

ACJ319neo sets record during test flight

The first ACJ319neo successfully completed a  16-hour and 10-minute test flight on 26th April, setting a new record for the longest A320 Family flight by an Airbus crew.

It flew from Toulouse to northern Greenland and back, in an endurance flight that included a simulated diversion under 180 min ETOPS rules, for which the A320 airliner family is already certified.

The aircraft is due to be delivered to K5 Aviation of Germany in the coming months, after ACJ319neo flight trials are completed. “We want to fly customers to their destination using the quickest routes, as well as delivering unsurpassed comfort and service, and it’s impressive to see such long-range capability at first hand,” said K5 Aviation CEO and Chief Pilot Erik Scheidt, who participated in the flight.

ACJ319neo makes successful first flight

The ACJ319neo successfully completed a first flight lasting one hour and 55 min. on 24 April 2019, beginning a short flight-test programme to verify its corporate jet features – such as the extra fuel tanks in its cargo-hold, which enable intercontinental range.

Built for K5 Aviation of Germany, the aircraft will be outfitted with a VVIP cabin by Fokker Techniek in the Netherlands after delivery.

The ACJ319neo is derived from the A320neo Family of airliners and features new engines and wingtip-mounted Sharklets.
