La Compagnie’s first A321neo makes inaugural Transatlantic flight

The first single-aisle A321neo destined for La Compagnie, an exclusively business-class French airline operating scheduled transatlantic flights, will commence transatlantic services on 6 June from Paris Orly Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport.

On lease from GECAS, La Compagnie’s A321neo is powered by CFM International LEAP 1A new generation engines and features a business class only cabin with 76 full flat seats, offering passengers unmatched comfort. The cabin also includes a high level of connectivity onboard.

Newark - Nice route coming for La Compagnie

The all-business boutique French airline La Compagnie has confirmed it will be expanding its offering with transatlantic flights to Nice from May 2019.

It has only been four years since the carrier launched as an exclusively business-class boutique airline offering flights between Paris and New York and so the new seasonal route marks a big step forward for the carrier. 

The first direct flight scheduled for Sunday, May 5th, 2019 from New York, Newark departing at 2330 to arrive in the sunny south of France at 1350 the next day local time. The return flights to Newark depart at 1815 from Nice to land into Liberty Airport at 2200.

La Compagnie to offer high speed Wi-Fi from Viasat.

The business class boutique French airline, La Compagnie, has partnered with Viasat Inc. a global communications company, to equip La Compagnie's brand-new, all-business-class A321neo aircraft with high-speed Wi-Fi capabilities.  Deployment of the new in-flight Wi-Fi service is scheduled for April 2019—making unlimited in-flight connectivity available to all 76 passengers onboard the two daily flights the airlines operate between Paris and New York.

More airlines join Worldwide by easyjet to screw more money out of passengers

easyJet, Europe's low-cost budget airline, announced earlier this week additional partners for its ‘Worldwide by easyJet’ product, which launched earlier this month. Stand-alone tickets on behalf of four new partner airlines will be on sale by the end of the year - for a fee and at prices more than available booking directly. 



The four airlines are - 

The Italian long-haul airline NEOS, that many outside Italy will never have heard of serves a number of long-haul routes from Milan, Rome, Verona and Bologna.

The Bailiwick of Guernsey’s state airline Aurigny has also signed up to easyjets new sales avenue website.

Business Class French carrier La Compagnie flies between Paris and New York.

Corsair is the fourth of this batch of airlines to join Worldwide by easyjet and they operate flights to destinations across Africa, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.
