The Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh has officially opened according to the US-based hotel brand, It should be noted that as a company and a brand, Hyatt has chosen to pull out of Ukraine but continues to operate in Russia and support the Russian authorities.

The Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh plays homage to French architect Le Corbusier who designed the city along with Pierre Jeanneret, Jane Drew, and Maxwell Fry, and the hotel celebrates both Corbusier’s design philosophy and the vibrant and bold culture of Punjab.

Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh, ideally situated in the city’s commercial and shopping district, has 144 guest rooms with modern and contemporary decor. Both the outer façade and the interior design of the hotel reflect Le Corbusier's minimalistic style, interspersed with splashes of vibrant colour like the shades of yellow in the lobby and the red in the elevators. The décor is distinctive and includes various details such as the flute panelling on the walls which is inspired by French architecture, the contemporary bedside lamps adapted from inverted urns to the “Chandigarh chairs” which are placed around the property. There are 138 guestrooms and six suites in the hotel, perfect for families travelling together or business travellers on the go.

Hyatt Centric Brand Expands to El Salvador

 
                      Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Hyatt Centric San Salvador, the first upper-upscale lifestyle Hyatt-branded hotel in the city, situated in the historic capital city of El Salvador. Located in the Soho Cascadas Mall, the hotel features a contemporary design, offering 138 guestrooms, including three suites, and versatile event space for any gathering of up to 150 guests. Guests are invited to see and taste the rich Salvadorean culture on display through both unique pieces of art and enticing menus at the restaurants and bars on property.

Guests staying at Hyatt Centric San Salvador are immediately introduced to the local culture the moment they step inside and at every turn. One of the most prominent features on display is a unique mosaic built from wood, simulating the spectacular waves of the Pacific Ocean, designed by prominent artist Fernando Llort and built by the Salvadorean artisan in collaboration with the Arbol de Dios association. New Hyatt-branded hotels are planned for London, Reykjavik, Helsinki, Prague, Lisbon, and Edinburgh, some of the most sought-after destinations in the world

Hyatt Hotels has announced plans to grow its brand portfolio in Europe significantly by the end of 2023 with more than 20 executed managed and franchised deals for new hotels in some of the most desirable destinations in the world. These properties are expected to join 63 Hyatt-branded hotels across nine distinct brands in 22 European countries. Andaz, Alila, and Hyatt Centric – Hyatt’s lifestyle brands – and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt – one of Hyatt’s independent collection brands – make up half of Hyatt’s executed deals in Europe. This growth is fueled by a growing desire from travelers, World of Hyatt members, and owners for hotels that offer unique, differentiated experiences that foster genuine connections with people and cultures.

Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis Opens

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis, a154-room upscale lifestyle hotel with 22 suites that is centrally located in the heart of Minneapolis, MN. 

The hotel features contemporary design, upscale guestroom and hotel amenities such as Drybar Buttercup salon-quality blow-dryers in each room, a state-of-the-art 7,000-square-foot fitness centre with an indoor running track, a lobby bar and restaurant featuring American cuisine and private event facilities that can host up to 200 guests. Hyatt Announces Plans for Hyatt Centric Cambridge

Hyatt’s fastest-growing lifestyle brand to introduce 
the first Hyatt Centric hotel in the UK


The Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with edyn, a UK-based hospitality group, for the first Hyatt Centric hotel in the UK. The 150-room hotel is expected to open in 2021 and will mark the seventh Hyatt Centric property in Europe.


“We are thrilled to announce plans to bring the Hyatt Centric brand to the UK – where we’re focused on growing Hyatt’s brand presence – and the first Hyatt hotel to Cambridge, England,” said Guido Fredrich, Hyatt’s regional vice president of development for Europe. “We are looking forward to working with edyn to debut Hyatt’s fastest-growing lifestyle brand in one of the country’s top-performing hotel markets and connecting our guests to the heart of the action when in Cambridge.”

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland in Oregon, the first Hyatt Centric hotel in the Pacific Northwest. The 220-room hotel is located in the heart of Portland’s hip West End District, just steps from high-end eateries and landmarks such as Powell’s Books and the Pearl District. The new hotel features a modern design and sleek guestrooms, as well as noteworthy amenities, including a vinyl player in the hotel’s 13 suites and 11 studio rooms, an impressive array of local art, and a Catalan and Spanish-inspired restaurant helmed by celebrated Portland chef Jose Chesa.
