Jet Edge Announces Cue Health Molecular COVID-19 Testing For Flight Crews and Worldwide Operations

Jet Edge announced this week that it has entered into an agreement with Cue Health, a first of its kind in the industry. Cue Health will provide all Jet Edge flight crews and global teams routine access to real-time COVID-19 molecular self-testing with instant results. Jet Edge is the first private aircraft operator to adopt a molecular self-testing solution, a game-changer for the industry.

The Cue test uses nucleic acid amplification technology to provide lab-quality COVID-19 test results from any location in 20 minutes. Based on current clinical studies submitted to the FDA, it is the most accurate self-test for COVID-19 and can detect all known COVID-19 variants, including Omicron. Cue’s lab results are directly connected to mobile devices so that critical safety information can be easily accessed and acted on immediately. The test can be used on adults and children over 2 years, with or without symptoms.

Jet Edge Expands Reserve Charter Membership US Nationwide

Jet Edge International, the Ohio-based private aviation firm, announces the company's Reserve Charter Membership program benefits will expand to a full nationwide footprint. Prior to rolling out nationwide, the Jet Edge Reserve program typically served major cities within the United States on a program pricing basis. All of the benefits of membership, including its hourly pricing and trans-con programs, have been opened up to all U.S. markets, excluding Alaska.

The announcement follows Jet Edge receiving approximately $265 million in total credit and equity investments from KKR over the last year.

Available in all U.S. locations, trans-con program pricing is now offered to Reserve members for 4+ hour flights, starting at $39,900 for the Challenger/Gulfstream aircraft to and from any city pairs in the U.S.

Jet Edge has 20 additional Gulfstream & Challenger aircraft slated to be delivered in the first half of 2022 in addition to the 27 delivered in 2021, bringing its total fleet size to 95 aircraft.

Jet Edge to Establish Teterboro Airport Base With Signature Aviation

The agreement will provide a dedicated base for AdvantEdge aircraft owners in New York City and provide an enhanced pre-flight experience for Jet Edge program members.

A re-envisioned FBO interior is part of a long-term agreement for a 44,000 sq. ft. portion of Signature Teterboro East’s Hangar 202, as well as associated office and workshop space. The introduction of the New York area base will enhance Jet Edge’s offerings in one of the most significant business aviation markets worldwide, guaranteeing consistency and privacy for passengers embarking via one of its private aircraft, in addition to providing benefits for Jet Edge AdvantEdge plane owners.

Jet Edge International Receives Further Investment from KKR

$75 million in new funding to support continued business growth, adds 20 new Challenger and Gulfstream aircraft.

Jet Edge International, the Ohio-based private aviation company, has raised an additional $75 million of funding from credit funds and accounts managed by KKR. The new funding expands KKR’s total credit and equity investments in Jet Edge to approximately $265 million over the past year.

Following the initial $150 million credit facility announced in June 2021, KKR has continued investing in Jet Edge amidst historic demand for its direct-to-consumer Reserve Membership program. Jet Edge will utilize the funding to further expand the company’s extensive Gulfstream and Challenger fleet.

Jet Edge International Is Adding 27 New Aircraft to Its AdvantEdge Fleet

After a record-setting first half of 2021, Jet Edge is excited to announce the addition of 27 state-of-the-art aircraft to its AdvantEdge fleet. The Bombardier Challenger 300/350 (16) and Gulfstream G450 (11) aircraft will all be flying by the end of the year, bringing the total available aircraft for charter in the AdvantEdge fleet to 74 (38 Challengers and 36 Gulfstreams). The new additions will have an average age of less than 10 years old and will include new paint, interiors, and upgraded state-of-the-art cabin technology systems. The cabins will include Gogo 4G streaming Wi-Fi, Bluetooth controlled sound systems, updated USB charging ports, HD Airshow, in-flight entertainment options, and more. The new deliveries started in earnest in July of this year and will be delivered in their entirety by December 15th.
