Tianjin Airlines welcomes its 100th aircraft.

Tianjin Airlines has acquired its 100th aircraft, an Airbus 321, B-302X which was welcomed at an acquisition ceremony which celebrated this unique milestone for the airline.

Tianjin Airlines' is one of the fastest-growing airlines in China and has grown to 100 strong aircraft fleet in just 9 years, from its official start of operations. So far it has carried more than 70 million passengers across its route network of over 130 destinations on three continents.

The airline has a mixed fleet that includes Airbus 330, Airbus 321, Airbus 320, Embraer 195 and Embraer 190 types of aircraft. The chief executive officer of Tianjin Airlines, Mr Liu said: "It is an honour for the airlines to reach the milestone of 100 aircraft. 

According to Tianjin Airlines, this new aircraft is specially painted and the paint scheme represents Tianjin's city image and focuses on several Tianjin city landmarks, showing Tianjin Airlines' great gratitude towards the city and passengers.

New A330-300 for Tianjin Airlines and Hainan Airlines


News from Haikou, China is that Hainan Airlines are all set to take delivery of an Airbus A330-300 aircraft by the end this month and is the 18th new A330-300 to join the carriers fleet.

This is the first new aircraft to be introduced by Hainan Airlines this year and is configured with 303 seats, there are 279 in the economy class cabin while 24 are positioned in the business class cabin. All the business class seats feature herringbone arrangement that allows passengers to enjoy lie-flat beds, increased privacy and direct aisle access.   All seats also include a USB slot, 110v power supply as well as an entertainment system. 

Sister airline, Tianjin Airlines is also getting its hands on a brand new A330-300 aircraft direct from Airbus at Toulouse today, which will initially serve the Tianjin to Tokyo and Osaka routes as well as planning flights from Tianjin, Xi'an, Chongqing to London, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

Tianjin Airlines Launches London-Xi'an Flight

Xi'an just got easier to get to for UK travellers as Tianjin Airlines launches a new direct flight from London on Monday. The service connects London to the eastern departure point of the ancient Silk Road for the first time. Xi'an is the capital city of Shaanxi province and a destination growing in popularity for the adventurous tourist. 

Tianjin Airlines will operate an Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, which departs at 3:15 pm from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport and will arrive at London Heathrow Airport after a 14-hour journey. Flight GS7987 offers a twice-a-week service on every Monday and Friday, with a capacity of 260 passengers. With return flight prices from just £380 return, there has never been a better time to explore an exceptional region steeped in history and tradition. 

The new route is the second Britain-China air route offered by the airline after the Tianjin-Chongqing-London flight that started in June 2017, linking Beijing neighbouring megacity Tianjin and Chongqing to Britain.

The business class of Tianjin Airlines A330-200 has Zodiac Aura Lite Seat with 2-2-2 configuration, with 18 seats in total. The Seat Pitch is 75 inches (191 cm), and the width is 21 inches (54 cm). It could be turned into a 78-inches (198 cm) length full-flat bed.

Tianjin Airlines launches a new route from Auckland to Tianjin via Xi'an

Tianjin Airlines debuted its first flight from Auckland to Tianjin via Xi'an on December 30, 2017. This is Tianjin Airlines' second intercontinental flight between China and New Zealand, coming after the flight from Auckland to Tianjin via Chongqing which began to operate in December 2016.

Free-accommodation service for transit passengers

When the flight connecting time is more than 6 hours and less than 48 hours, one-night accommodation is free for passengers who take Tianjin Airlines international flights and transit via Chongqing on domestic flights of HNA Group or Tianjin Airlines. Free-accommodation service is also provided for passengers who take Tianjin Airlines international flights and transfer via Tianjin and Xi'an on Tianjin Airlines' domestic flights under the same circumstances.

International ticket package

Tianjin Airlines provides air ticket packages, available for both business and economy classes. Passengers flying Tianjin Airlines between China and UK, Russia, Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand can enjoy favourable pricing.

Seat selection service

Tianjin Airlines provides seat selection service on some international routes. Passengers who depart from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Phuket, Korea and Japan can select the seats in the first and exit rows of economy class for a suitable price. These spacious seats will give fliers additional legroom and a more comfortable experience. Passengers can also purchase seat selection service during the check-in process and our staff will assist with the seat selection.

Tianjin Airlines Launched Melbourne to Chongqing Route, Plans Sydney to Tianjin via Zhengzhou Route


Tianjin Airlines has opened a new route directly from Melbourne to Chongqing. This is Tianjin Airlines' first transcontinental air route to Australia. Early next year, Tianjin Airlines will launch a new route from Sydney to Tianjin via Zhengzhou, which will initially begin from 29 January 2018. Ticket information for Melbourne-Chongqing are available on the official website and more about Sydney-Tianjin will be available in late November.

The flights are operated by A330 aircraft, with 18 business class seats and 242 economy class seats. Both classes are equipped with entertainment system on the back of the seats. Besides, delicious meals and considerable service are served on board, providing an enjoyable journey for passengers.
