The Latvian-based airBaltic has won the Skytrax award for the Best Airline in Eastern Europe in 2022 the firm has just announced. "What makes this award special is that it is based on the recognition from our passengers who truly enjoy the airBaltic experience." the airline confirmed in a statement

In recent months the airline has passed many milestones in its development, from more pilots graduating from its flight academy to its 50 millionth passenger.
