Delta and Cape Air strengthen partnership

Customers can book select Cape Air service from Boston directly through Delta
Delta SkyMiles Members can now earn and redeem miles on eligible Cape Air flights

The U.S. mega-carrier Delta is bolstering its longstanding interline partnership with the regional carrier Cape Air allowing passengers to book Cape Air service to 11 different cities along the northeast U.S. coast directly through delta.com and the Fly Delta app.

SkyMiles Members will earn and redeem miles on eligible Cape Air flights booked through a Delta channel. In celebration of the partnership expansion, members will automatically earn 500 bonus miles on each Cape Air-operated flight booked with Delta and flown from now through August 31, 2021. Customers who are not currently SkyMiles Members can sign up here to take advantage of this special earning opportunity.

This partnership will currently include eligible Cape Air flights operating from Delta’s hub at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to:

Hyannis, Mass. (HYA)
Lebanon, N.H. (LEB)
Martha’s Vineyard, Mass. (MVY)
Nantucket, Mass. (ACK)

Rutland, Vt. (RUT)
Saranac Lake, N.Y. (SLK)

Recognized as "One of the Top Ten Small Airlines in the World" by Condรฉ Nast Traveler, Cape Air is one of the largest U.S. commuter airlines serving 38 cities, including the Caribbean. The Massachusetts-based airline has grown to a fleet of 100 aircraft, more than 400 daily flights, and flying over 500,000 passengers annually. Cape Air operates three types of aircraft – the Cessna 402, the Tecnam P2012 Traveller (pictured left), and the Britten-Norman Islander, all of which accommodate nine customers.

Delta is building on its hub presence in Boston, having recently launched nonstop service to Reykjavik, Iceland. Customers connecting from Cape Air can enjoy all the historical city has to offer or seamlessly journey on to the 38 destinations Delta will serve from Boston, including brand-new service to seven destinations not flown before the pandemic: Reykjavik (KEF); Rome (FCO); Toronto (YYZ); Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW); Charlotte, N.C. (CLT); Hilton Head, S.C. (HHH); and Traverse City, Mich. (TVC).
