The summer is already hotting up for Latvian airline airBaltic, who in cooperation with the international tour operator Tez Tour Latvija has published its enhanced charter programme for the forthcoming summer season.
Staring in late April the firms will offer regular charter flights to a selection of five sunny leisure destinations. Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “When it comes down to summer holiday destinations, it is essential for airlines to have an offer in place several months before the season starts. We are delighted to continue our successful cooperation with Tez Tour Latvija and increase the number of direct charter flights from Riga to different holiday destinations.”

We were with the airline both before and during the major renewal of its fleet. And we are very glad that today our tourists can travel to the popular Mediterranean resorts on one of the most modern aircraft in the world – the Airbus A220-300.”
“Demand for charter flights in the summer season of 2019 is above the forecasts. A number of sales at the Balttour tourism exhibition is a very important marker, reflecting the positive dynamics of growth in demand for the mass tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. This growth is a trend not only for Latvia but also for most EU markets,” Konstantīns Paļgovs added.
During the summer season, 2019 airBaltic and Tez Tour Latvija will offer regular charter flights to Antalya (Turkey) up to 6 times a week, Heraklion (Greece) and Burgas (Bulgaria) – twice a week. Furthermore, Tez Tour will offer two weekly charter programs to Ancona (Italy) and Patras (Greece).
In total, Tez Tour and airBaltic have planned to carry out 14% more charter flights than last year to the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Throughout the summer season, Tez Tour will also offer tours on scheduled airBaltic flights to Rhodes (Greece), Barcelona and Mallorca (Spain) among others.
