Park Inn by Radisson and MV WERFTEN open unique ship-inspired hotel in Germany´s historic city of Wismar

Park Inn by Radisson – Radisson Hotel Group’s upper midscale hotel brand that delivers stress-free experiences, good food and upbeat environments – is proud to announce the opening of a 98-room hotel in Wismar, northern Germany.

All the rooms have been created by the city’s shipyard MV WERFTEN Fertigmodule and feature a unique ship’s cabin design.

Located in the district known for the golden age of the Hanseatic League, the Park Inn by Radisson Wismar has opened its doors. Radisson brand to debut in Algeria

Radisson Hotel Group is proud to announce the signing of the Radisson Hotel La Baie d’Alger in Algiers; its second hotel in Algeria and first Radisson-branded hotel in the country. The new hotel will be a strong addition to the group’s portfolio of almost 100 hotels in operation and under development across 32 countries in Africa.

The capital of Algeria, Algiers is the political, economic and cultural centre of Africa’s largest country. It is a cosmopolitan city that enjoys a prominent location on a bay along the Mediterranean coastline. Algeria itself continues to show a spike in tourism. According to WTTC, international arrivals are expected to reach 4.5 million by 2027 and the direct contribution of the travel and tourism industry to the GDP is forecasted to rise by 4.5% per year from 2015 to 2025.

Park Inn by Radisson Set to Sail into Germany’s Historic Port City of Wismar

Two new hotels for Radisson in Brazil

Radisson Hotel Group announced the signings of two new-build Radisson hotels in Brazil in partnership with Atlantica Hotels. The hotels span the country from the Pinheiros District in São Paulo to the northeastern coast in the Flecheiras Village. Each hotel will feature the new Radisson design, which includes a comfortable natural look and feel that encourages a balanced environment. Radisson hotels provide opportunities to create experiences that centre around social spaces, food and drink, guest rooms, meetings and wellness through the brands signature amenities.

Radisson Hotel Group signs agreement for three hotels to enter Madagascar

Radisson Hotel Group is entering its 32nd African market and second Indian Ocean territory, Madagascar, with the signing of a portfolio deal of three hotels and a total of 254 rooms. The agreement was signed with Groupe Talys. 

Radisson Hotel Group has 89 hotels and 17,000+ rooms in operation and under development in Africa. The Group remains firmly on track to reach 130 hotels and 23,000+ rooms across the continent by 2022. The agreement consists of two hotel conversions and one hotel under construction, with all three hotels scheduled to open in 2020.

Park Inn by Radisson, has opened the Park Inn by Radisson Berrini in the south zone of São Paulo at Rua Quintana, 934 Brooklin Novo, São Paulo. The 171-room hotel is near several affluent neighbourhoods and districts including Vila Olímpia and Morumbi. Radisson Hotel Group enters Bursa with Turkey’s first Radisson branded hotel

The Radisson Hotel Group will be opening the first Radisson-branded hotel in Bursa, Turkey. The agreement with the Turkey-based real estate and construction company IHY Gayrimenkul İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. increases the Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio in Turkey to 25 hotels and more than 4,600 rooms in operation and under development.

Six new hotels for Radisson in Egypt

The Radisson Hotel Group recently announced the signing of six new hotels in Egypt as part of a portfolio deal across a number of its brands. The agreement was signed with existing business partner Zaghloul Holdings, a Cairo-based business conglomerate operating in real estate, contracting, tourism, commercial retail, entertainment and sports investment industries. 

The six hotels: Radisson Collection Hotel Cairo Heliopolis, Radisson Blu Serviced Apartments Cairo Heliopolis, Radisson Blu Hotel Cairo Golf City, Radisson Hotel New Cairo, Radisson Hotel & Resort Ain Sokhna and Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Makadi Bay, Hurghada will mean Radisson Hotel Group becomes one of the largest international operators in the country and will also cement Radisson Blu’s position as the leading brand in the city in the coming years.
