Following the recent increased frequency of its Los Angeles-Taipei route to daily service, STARLUX Airlines, a Taiwan-based luxury carrier, has announced the launch of its second North American destination, with flights between San Francisco and Taipei debuting on 16th December 2023. Initially starting with three weekly flights, the SFO-TPE service is expected to ramp to daily next March. Reservations for the new route are now open for booking and below is the schedule:

To celebrate the grand opening, STARLUX Airlines has partnered with Sony, a leading figure in the audiovisual industry. From December 16th until December 31st, all First-Class passengers travelling from Taipei to San Francisco will receive a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless noise-cancelling headphones.
Luxury Service and “Home in the Air” Experience
With eyes to the skies and “luxury” embedded in its brand, STARLUX strives to achieve the highest standards in operations, service, safety, and management. With brand-new cabins and exquisite dining, STARLUX’s long-haul routes have garnered praise and become a top choice for travellers crossing the Pacific Ocean. The airline will operate the SFO-TPE route with its next-generation Airbus A350 configured in a premium four-class layout, with four seats in First Class, 26 in Business, 36 in Premium Economy, and 240 in Economy.
STARLUX focuses on providing a “Home in the Air” experience with comfortable seating in all four cabin classes. First and Business offer individual sliding doors and seats with a Zero-G mode to alleviate travel fatigue. Premium Economy provides spacious seats with footrests, allowing passengers to stretch comfortably during the journey. Economy, featuring 4K high-definition screens along with the option to connect personal Bluetooth headphones, makes long-haul flights a breeze.
