BOC Aviation releases latest operational transactions.

BOC Aviation Limited has just released its operational transactions for the quarter that ended 30th September 2022:

 

Transactions Summary 

 

·       A total fleet of 612 aircraft owned, managed and on order1

 

·        An average aircraft age of 4.3 years and an average remaining lease term of 8.2 years for the 395-owned aircraft fleet, both weighted by net book value

 

·        Order book of 181 aircraft1

 

·        Executed a total of 44 transactions in the third quarter of 2022:

    • Committed to purchasing nine new aircraft
    • Delivered 12 aircraft on lease to airlines
    • Sold one owned and one managed aircraft
    • Signed 21 lease commitments

 

·        Customer base of 81 airlines in 38 countries and regions in the owned and managed portfolios 

 

·        Managed fleet comprising 36 aircraft, with two single-aisle aircraft off lease2

·        Owned aircraft utilisation stable at 96%, with eight single-aisle, five twin-aisle and one freighter aircraft off lease2. All aircraft are committed for lease

Notes:

  1. Includes all commitments to purchase aircraft including those where an airline customer has the right to acquire the relevant aircraft on delivery.
  2. Excludes 17 owned and one managed aircraft that remain in the possession of certain Russian airlines despite the termination of the leases with those airlines.
