Silver Airways to lunch Savannah / Hilton Head International routes to Florida services

Silver Airways, one of America’s leading independent regional airlines has announced new nonstop twice-weekly services from Savannah, Georgia to Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to nonstop service between Savannah, Georgia and two of Florida’s most exciting travel destinations, these new routes will also provide convenient and seamless connections to Silver’s extensive network throughout the Sunshine State, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and destinations domestically and worldwide through Silver’s codeshare and interline ticketing partners. Silver serves more intra-Florida destinations than any other air carrier.

“It is great to see that Silver Airways has included Savannah/Hilton Head International in their expansion plans. Having these direct flights to Tampa and Fort Lauderdale will certainly enhance our nonstop options to the South,” said Gregory Kelly, Executive Director at Savannah/Hilton Head International. “Both airports have been unserved from SAV for many years, so we’re looking forward to working with Silver to make sure these routes are successful,” added Kelly.

“We are delighted to serve Savannah and the surrounding Georgia and South Carolina Low Country communities,” said Steve Rossum, Chief Executive Officer of Silver Airways. “Savannah is the quintessential Southern community reflecting the rich culture of its history and its antebellum architecture, the renowned friendliness and hospitality of its residents, miles of relaxing beaches, world-class golf courses, outstanding cuisine, exciting night life, and a vibrant and growing business community,” added Rossum. “We are very excited to serve Savannah/Hilton Head.”

To celebrate the new nonstop service, Silver is offering fares from $59* available at silverairways.com for a limited time for travel from April 1 through May 26, 2021.
