Silver Airways Kicks Off Summer Travel Between Orlando and Destin, Florida

On March 13, 2020, in time for the Memorial Day weekend, Silver Airways is kicking off the summer travel season between two historic U.S. Air Force bases – Orlando International Airport, formerly McCoy Air Force Base, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, located within Eglin Air Force Base.

Flights are scheduled to take just under two hours on the airlines Saab 340B aircraft featuring 34 seats in an economy cabin. 

“I am proud that Silver Airways is bringing our safe, reliable and customer friendly service to all travelers to and from this amazing destination and in particular the men and women and their families who have served or are serving our country,” said Dermont Miles, U.S. Air Force veteran who served from Northwest Florida’s Eglin Air Force Base for many years and now serves as Silver Airways Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering.

To celebrate the nonstop service between Orlando and Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Silver is offering fares from $59* available at silverairways.com for a limited time for travel March 13 through May 20, 2020, for ticketing on or before February 29, 2020.
