Turkmenistan Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkmenistan, headquartered in the country’s capital Ashgabat will be resuming flights to Birmingham in the UK and Frankfurt in Germany, as early as June after being given the all clear from regulators.

Back in February, the EASA suspended Turkmenistan Airlines from operating into Europe over safety concerns. The airline then employed Lufthansa to assist with getting its maintenance teams up to scratch and instigate correct processes.

The airline also operated flights to Paris, however, there is no word on when that route would start, "We have no confirmation regarding Paris," a Turkmenistan Airlines spokesperson told AFP news agency over the weekend.
