Loganair cancels flights ahead of another Highlands & Islands Airports air traffic control officer strike.

The Prospect union representing Air Traffic Control workers at six Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd airports has notified HIAL of strike action on Wednesday 12 June. 

The union has balloted air traffic officers to undertake industrial action to support their claim for a wage increase as well as future parity with air traffic control officers in London and other UK airports.

The latest strike day will affect Loganair services at Benbecula, Dundee, Inverness, Kirkwall, Stornoway and Sumburgh.   Services to Barra, Campbeltown, Islay, Tiree and Wick will be unaffected.

As a result of the strike, Loganair has made the following changes have been made to Loganair’s schedule.
