AirTransat revamp Kids Club and show off new kids club detailed paint scheme.

The Canadian leisure airline, Air Transat, has released details of its new Kids Club livery and a new kids' meal to make travelling more fun for passengers, both big and small.  The airline's kids club has been going for 12 years, giving kids aged between 2 and 11 free membership and fun kits filled with travel goodies, priority airport services, on-board surprises and more.

AirTransat seeks to become the perfect airline
for family vacations and unveils new livery

"At Air Transat, we always have the needs of families at heart," says Annick Guรฉrard, Chief Operating Officer at Transat. "We have been accompanying them on their dreams and holidays for more than 30 years. We understand their expectations, care about their well-being and do everything possible to make their lives easier, from the moment they arrive at the airport to the time they reach their final destinations. As a company that specializes in holiday travel, our concern for families is evident in many ways, mainly in the little extras from a crew who fully understands their needs and wants to ensure that their vacations start as soon as they board."

A new livery, a new meal, and much more!
The carrier has adorned an Airbus A321 with a special Air Transat Kids Club smiley face and googlie eyes. This aircraft is scheduled to operate many flights to and from Florida and the south in a bid to appeal to the holiday traffic.  Photographer Tom Podolec managed to capture the aircraft arriving in Toronto over the weekend showing the new additions to the livery. ‏

In addition, Air Transat is introducing a new kids' meal, free on transatlantic flights and also available on South flights for a fee. Served on a tray with the Kids Club colours, the meal will consist of mac and cheese with apple sauce, cookies and juice, with onboard surprises also being revamped.

Air Transat also proudly proclaims it offers free and automated standard seat assignments to ensure that kids 12 and under are seated with their parents, although this is actually a requirement set by international aviation organisations.

Kids Club advantages
Here are the many perks offered to Kids Club members and their families: AirTransat revamp Kids Club and show off new kids club detailed paint scheme.

A member's kit filled with cool travel goodies
Free standard seat selection for members on their roundtrip flights
A family check-in counter for speedier service
Priority boarding for the whole family, in Economy Class
On-board surprises to make flying fun
Priority baggage handling
Stroller gate delivery service
And much more!

However, not everyone is pleased with the new offerings and perks given for free to families with children, an AirTransat passenger at London Gatwick told expressed his displeasure. "It's absolutely sickening, they make more mess, they make more noise, they disturb everyone else, they get all this free stuff, they get to get on board before anyone else, they get faster baggage delivery, the block the gangways and on top of that they pay lower fares than the rest of us, who have to pay extra  for any of those additional services."
