Two Milestones For AzurAir This Month



Azur Air has increased its fleet with a another Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline, which started operations in January already flies four 737-800's with this latest addition bringing the total to five.

All the aircraft are configured with a single class cabin designed to carry 189 passengers, over a maximum flight range of just over 5,600 km. These aircraft are deployed on Azur's routes to Turkey, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus from Moscow and nearly thirty other Russian cities.  

AzurAir also have more expansion plans on the drawing board as the airline's plans include the possibility of extending the 737-800 fleet even further with an additional aircraft for next year, expect an announcement before the end of October. 


 Earlier this month the airline also celebrated carrying its two millionth passenger - Olesya Rasskazov who was flying with the airline from Moscow to Tunisia, was surprised at check-in and to mark the occasion AzurAir awarded their milestone passenger with another set of tickets to fly anywhere on their network.
