Norse Atlantic Airways announces partnership with the Goethe-Institut New York
The #NorseCulturalExchange project will support cultural exchanges between the Berlin and New York City throughout this summer.
The #NorseCulturalExchange, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut New York, underscores the airline’s commitment in supporting cultural projects across the Atlantic by facilitating travel for artists between Berlin and New York.
Norse is supporting the institute with flights for artists travelling to New York from Berlin for cultural projects and events. Norse Atlantic operates up to four direct weekly flights between the two cities.
Partnership projects include:
The Artist Talk series “Art & Weise”. Previous participants have included Raphaela Vogel, Tobias Zielony, John Miller, and Anna Ostoya.The “Helen und Kurt Wolff Prize“. The formal award ceremony takes place in early October, bringing together authors, translators, and representatives of the publishing industry.Das “festival neue literatur“, a festival showcasing German-speaking authors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.The German Film Office at the Goethe-Institut will be showcasing filmmakers and actors at various events across the USA.
