Leading aviation technology expert, Dr. Theresa Wise joins IBS Software board of drectors

IBS Software, a leading SaaS solutions provider to the travel industry globally, has appointed Dr. Theresa Wise to its Board of Directors. Dr. Wise has 15 years’ experience as Chief Information Officer (CIO) having served with Delta Airlines, where she was responsible for the renewal of Delta’s complex and critical technology systems, and previously as CIO of Northwest Airlines. The IBS Software Board now comprises eight Directors, of which six are Independent Directors.

Dr. Wise brings a wealth of experience and expertise to IBS Software having led multiple major technology and digital transformation efforts, with a particular focus on customer-centric integration programs. She is currently CEO and principal of Utaza, a business advisory group focused on executive IT strategy, data analytics, mathematical modelling and revenue optimization. She is also on the board of directors for MISO Energy, Viasat, Inc., and CWT Travel.

IBS Software to transform crew operations for Cebu Pacific

Cebu Pacific one of the Philippines’ leading airlines, has selected IBS Software for its crew scheduling processes to further improve operational efficiency. As the airline ramps up its domestic and international networks, more flights would entail better management of staff schedules.

 

The move is part of Cebu Pacific’s digitalization journey. By implementing IBS Software’s cloud-based iFlight AD OPT solution, Cebu Pacific will replace manual processes with digital tools to implement new systems for crew pairings, rostering and crew preferential bidding, leading to increased employee satisfaction.

Air PREMIA Airlines selects IBS Software’s iCargo to transform its Global Cargo Operations

Air PREMIA Airlines, a recently established start-up from South Korea with business operations across the regional and international circuits, has gone live with IBS Software’s iCargo Management solution for its air cargo business.

The mid to long-haul start-up from South Korea was founded in July 2017 and started operations in Aug 2021. With operations based at ICN airport, Air PREMIA flies to Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Los Angeles (US) by Boeing 787-9.  

Air PREMIA is using the entire suite of iCargo Sales and Operations from IBS Software, with US Customs capabilities to help streamline its cargo booking and operations processes. This covers everything from cargo reservation, capacity allocation and management, and AWB stock management. It also includes cargo product and service portfolio management, proactive disruption management, cargo acceptance and load planning – all to provide an enhanced, streamlined service to customers.

Delivered as a SaaS solution, the green field implementation will provide Air PREMIA with the right digital tools required for a start-up airline, hosted in a robust and agile infrastructure to develop business operations and scale to larger volumes at the lowest cost.

American Airlines Cargo teams up with IBS Software to fast-track WebCargo integration

American Airlines Cargo has taken another major step forward in the digitalization of its cargo operations by deploying IBS Software’s latest iPartner Customer (iPC) solution to allow seamless, fast integration with leading digital marketplace WebCargo, a Freightos Group company.

 

IBS Software’s iPartner Customer platform is equipped with out-of-the-box APIs that allow faster integration of airline cargo sales and distribution offerings. The deployment allows American Airlines Cargo to take advantage of the business opportunities provided by WebCargo, ultimately delivering enhanced reach to a wider customer base. iPC’s real time data exchange empowers American Airlines Cargo to define and better control its distribution strategy by providing critical features such as smart filtering and configurable business rules.

 



IBS Software’s vision for iPC is to enable carriers to leverage a highly flexible and scalable platform, with an out-of-the-box capability to integrate digital sales channels. This design philosophy enabled the entire lifecycle of the integration between American Airlines Cargo and Freightos to be achieved in a matter of weeks.

Oman Air transforms staff travel with IBS Software partnership


Oman Air has partnered with IBS Software to fully digitalize its staff travel program, delivering a highly configurable, self-service platform for employees to book and manage complex leisure travel, annual leave travel and duty travel policies.

Award-winning Oman Air overhauled its on-premise legacy system with IBS Software's SaaS-based iFly Staff platform to enable self-service for its employees to easily manage their travel needs. The system has also significantly extended usability, allowing users access via any browser or any Android or iOS device, replacing the legacy desktop-only service. iFly Staff now handles all Oman Air active and retired employee's ID travel, supplementary ticketing, and annual leave ticketing, as well as the staff ticketing of partner companies TRANSOM Catering, TRANSOM Handling and TRANSOM SATS Cargo.

The platform's highly configurable business rules engine means Oman Air gains the ability to dynamically update its policies, create and roll out new policies and processes, thus reducing the lead-time to implement policy changes. This has resulted in significant gains on operational efficiency over the last six months since the system went live.

Etihad Airways to adopt IBS Software's new iFly Corporate Solution for premium corporate partners

iFly Corporate will allow Etihad to manage multiple corporate accounts with a one-stop solution, that enables direct distribution by replacing intermediaries and ensuring corporate customer retention.

Etihad's partners will now benefit from a self-service corporate travel solution, that provides a seamless booking experience across multiple platforms, through integration with Etihad's Passenger Service Systems and the end-users HR systems.

The new reincarnated regional airline, Flybe has chosen IBS Software’s iFly Res to be the backbone of its commercial operations powering its recent launch.
