From the beginning of Arajet’s operations in Mexico in September 2022, Arajet transported 14,944 passengers, leading international passenger traffic and making the Dominican Republic the airport’s top international destination.

Arajet operates its route to Mexico City with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays with a fleet of five new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft that save 14% more fuel than single-aisle aircraft on the market and generate 40% less noise pollution.
Arajet has already inaugurated 17 destinations of its initial network and connects Santo Domingo with direct flights to Mexico City and Cancun in Mexico; San Jose in Costa Rica; San Salvador in El Salvador; Guatemala City in Guatemala; Lima in Peru, Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador; Aruba, Curaçao, Jamaica and Saint Martin in the Caribbean; and Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena in Colombia.
