NIiceair's winter schedule is out now.


Niceair is the new Icelandic carrier starting direct year-round scheduled services from Akureyri, the gateway to Arctic Iceland and just put on sale its new winter schedule. 

Based in Akureyri, the carrier flies Airbus A319 aircraft featuring 150 seats which offer optimal performance for both passengers and cargo. 

For the winter period Niceair will continue to fly to Copenhagen on Thursdays and Sundays, then add flights to Manchester on Fridays and Mondays but will transfer London Stansted to Saturdays and Tuesdays. 

With the introduction of flights to Manchester, a number of possibilities open up for travellers, for example, coming over for a football match in Manchester or nearby cities for the weekend. In addition, there are even more possibilities to connect to other flights, there are more than 190 destinations around the world from Manchester Airport. The winter schedule is valid until March 31.


Akureyri, Iceland’s second city and capital of the North is located just 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle and is an attraction in itself. The in-house restaurant specialises in hearty local dishes made from fresh seasonal produce.
