Aircraft deliveries…..
The European aerospace company Airbus has delivered a total of 140 commercial aircraft thus far this year, comprising of 120 single-aisle jets, 6 A330s and 14 A350s. The total number should have been 142, however, two A350s for Aeroflot have not been delivered because of the current sanctions on Russia.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Boeing has delivered 95 aircraft, made up of 86 B737 family, 1 B747, 5 B767 and 3 B777 models. In the same period last year, Boeing delivered 63 B737s, so this year's figure marks a massive improvement and sees renewed confidence in the MAX models, despite the two fatal crashes that saw the type grounded for just shy of two years.
