Wizz Air will fly twice a week between Eindhoven and Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 23th of May. The Hungarian airline provides the only direct connection between the Netherlands and the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajavo is the second connection between Eindhoven and Bosnia and Herzegovina, next to Tuzla.
The flights to/from Sarajevo on Wednesdays and Sundays are operated with the Airbus A320 (180 seats). The new destination is attractive for Brabant companies in the industry and logistics sector and the Bosnian employees there. In addition, Sarajevo's popularity as a tourist destination is growing. Sarajevo is the 23rd capital city that is directly connected to Eindhoven Airport.
