A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft has crashed while returning to the Abuja Airport following an engine failure, officials have confirmed. The aircraft was operating a flight to Minna on Sunday morning, however, the aircraft came down just short of the runway.
All 7 air force personnel on board died in the crash the air force and first responders have confirmed, and the chief of air staff has ordered an immediate investigation. He called for the public to "remain calm & await the outcome of the investigation".
