Condor to fly to Cuba again as of October 31, 2020

As of October 31 Germany's most popular leisure airline takes off to Varadero, Cuba again, after the German Foreign Office lifted the travel warning for Cuba. Condor offers three weekly connections from each Frankfurt and Dusseldorf and operates the flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, just in time for the start of the winter flight schedule. Tickets can be booked from 349.99 euros per person and route at www.condor.com, in travel agencies and by telephone. Package tours with Condor flights to Cuba can be booked with many German tour operators.

“Germans want to go on holiday, but feel comfortable and safe at the same time, especially when travelling in times of Corona. Cuba fulfills all the conditions for a perfect getaway: Caribbean temperatures, great hotels and wonderful beaches for bathing and relaxing. For 65 years Condor has been taking guests reliably and safely to holiday destinations, we’ll continue to do so even in special times like these,” says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. "Comprehensive hygiene concepts are implemented locally in the hotels as well as at Varadero Airport, so travelers can feel comfortable and safe throughout their journey.”

A wide range of protective measures will be implemented throughout the flight, but the product and service experience on board will remain the same for all guests: In Business Class, a varied menu and wine selection is available, Premium Economy Class offers special comfort with additional leg-room, and Economy Class offers the usual service, too. Additionally, Condor's reduced Flex fare for 50 euros (return flight) offers up to three free rebookings per flight, thus enabling special flexibility.

Varadero is one of the most popular seaside resorts in Cuba - with beautiful beaches and impressive nature reserves. The winter season from November to April is considered the best time to enjoy the most beautiful side of the Caribbean.
