Garuda Indonesia has leased the slots it held at London Heathrow Airport that it previously used on its London Deppasar route to Air India who will use them for Mumbai flights.
Garuda last used the slots at the start of February this year and have leased evening slot pairs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to Air India until the end of the 2021 Summer season. Air India has indicated it will use the slots for Boeing 787 flights to Mumbai and are ready to occupy one pair as soon as the current travel restrictions are lifted.
