The grounding of the carriers 14 737 Max fleet has meant it has had to axe between 40 and 45 flights each day. “We’ll continue to monitor the regulatory process and nimbly make the necessary adjustments to our operation and our schedule to benefit our customers who are travelling this summer,” a United spokesperson confirmed on Friday. American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have both cut the 737 max from their scheduled until August, whereas Icelandair has dropped the jet from its schedule until the middle of September.
