SpiceJet to launch new services

One of India’s major airlines, SpiceJet has recently announced additions to its flight network, last week it advised it would start Ahmedabad-Jaisalmer and Surat-Jaisalmer services.

SpiceJet says it will begin the Ahmedabad-Jaisalmer operation on 31st October, while Ahmedabad and Surat-Jaisalmer-Surat route would begin on 30th November this year. Additionally, SpiceJet is all set to enhance its operations on the Surat-Goa sector with a second direct flight from 30th November.

The airline is also starting a new daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Hong Kong with effect of 22nd November, using a state-of-the-art brand new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This will be SpiceJet’s eighth International destination after Bangkok, Colombo, Dubai, Dhaka, Kabul, Male and Muscat.

Hong Kong is SpiceJet’s eighth international destination and we are the only Indian budget carrier offering direct connectivity between India’s national capital and Hong Kong --- one of the world’s top tourist destinations. The sector, much to the delight of our passengers, will be exclusively serviced by our brand new state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX aircraft offering unmatched service to our guests.”

The 189 seat Boeing 737max will depart Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport at 2245, arriving Hong Kong, 0640 the following day. The return is scheduled for an 0740 departure, landing back in Delhi at 1050 am.
