Continuing its massive global expansions, Turkish Airlines has introduced a direct service from the popular holiday airport of Bodrum to London.

The Turkish carrier first started serving the United Kingdom way back in 1961 and now operates a total of 90 flights per week between Turkey and the UK. It has flights to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The new seasonal flight from Bodrum to London Gatwick currently offers fares from £235 (including taxes and fees).

In a recent announcement the airline, which flies to more countries and international destinations than any other airline, has said it will no longer take part of SkyTrax World Airline audits.  It says 'Both passenger satisfaction and experience are its top priorities' and it will keep taking firm steps at improving its product, service and quality processes with the experience it has attained from passenger ratings and feedback. Therefore, it will only take the evaluations based on direct passenger experience into consideration.

Turkish Airlines will also be moving to the İstanbul New Airport from the 29th October 2018,
