Wizz Air will fly twice a week between Eindhoven Airport in Netherlands and Rzeszów in Poland from 6th November. The Hungarian airline will initially fly on Mondays and Fridays between Eindhoven and the Polish city in southeastern Poland. From December 20th, flights will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Rzeszów is an emerging university city in Poland, home to several companies active in innovation and technology. In addition, tourism is also becoming an increasingly important economic factor.
Rzeszów is the eighth Polish destination connecting Wizz Air with Eindhoven. This brings the number of Wizz Air destinations from Eindhoven Airport to 26.
Eindhoven Airport is the second largest airport in the Netherlands with over 6 million passengers in 2018. The airport serves Brainport region and connects it with Europe and makes the region internationally accessible in balance with surroundings.
