Vietnam Airlines reducing domestic Vietnam flights and introducing new passenger transport policy due to Covid-19
To help combat the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 Vietnam Airlines has confirmed it will reduce the number of domestic flights it operates between 30th March and 15th April 2020.
Specifically, all domestic routes will be temporarily suspended during the above period, except for routes from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and from Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang / Phu Quoc. These routes will be maintained with a maximum frequency of 01 round trip per day.
The adjusted domestic flight schedule for the period from 30th March to 15th April is pictured below:-
The flight schedule from 30th March to 1st April is listed below. Affected domestic passengers will be assisted in rebooking, rerouting or refunding tickets according to the airline's current policy.
In addition, to ensure passenger safety, Vietnam Airlines implements a number of measures as follows:
- Checking body temperature on all flights: Passengers with body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celcius and above will not be allowed to travel.
- Passengers must wear face masks during the flight and when entering the airport, and are recommended to keep a minimum distance of 2 meters from others when queuing for check-in and boarding.
- On domestic flights departing from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Minh City, passengers sitting in the same row will be arranged by the airline at least 01 seat apart from each other to ensure a safe distance.
