Woman charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, trespass and criminal mischief on American Airlines flight

An American Airlines aircraft had to return to the gate at Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Wednesday after a 24-year-old passenger started to become unruly, however even before the plane reach the jet bridge, the passenger opened one of the doors and the emergency inflatable slide deployed.

Cynthia McKnight, from Sacramento, California, was arrested by local law enforcement officers and has since been charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, trespass and criminal mischief. 

The aircraft about to operate a flight to Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Tuesday,  American Airlines issues a statement confirming the "Individual was quickly apprehended by local law enforcement and has been placed on American's internal refuse list pending further investigation. - We thank our team members for their professionalism and their action to ensure the safety of our customers and fellow crew."
