Sydney Airport accepts higher take-over bid

Sydney Airport in Australia has accepted a new and improved take-over bid from the Sydney Aviation Alliance consortium, reports passengerterminaltoday.com

This is the third time lucky for the consortium which has seen its first and second bids for control of the airport rejected. According to the reports,  this latest deal is worth an estimated A$23.6bn in total. The deal is still some way off being fully agreed and completed, due diligence now has to be conducted and certain conditions need to be met before the airport's board will recommend all shareholders vote to accept the deal
