Announced today from Catalina Island Company, this unique wedding opportunity includes a two-night stay and an extraordinary ceremony on the Zip Line Eco Tour, available for one day only—  Thursday, 13th May.

For more than 10 years, Catalina Island Company’s popular Zip Line Eco Tour has been thrilling guests with a 3,600-foot-long course that zigs and zags across Descanso Canyon and through a grove of towering eucalyptus trees. This adventure is set against the backdrop of beautiful Catalina Island, California’s Island Escape™, with sweeping views of the ocean and its iconic Casino building. On this special day, four lucky, adventurous couples will have the chance to say, “I do!” in one of nature’s most beautiful settings, all while safely harnessed as they soar through the Zip Line Eco Tour course.

Each of the five platforms along the course will feature a different element of the ceremony, from the couple’s procession down the “aisle”— at speeds of up to 35mph — to vows officiated by the Mayor of Avalon, to a romantic first dance, and, finally, a Champagne toast and cake at the end of the course. Each couple will receive a framed commemorative photograph of their experience.

The unique ceremony is just one element of this amazing package from Catalina Island Company, which also includes two nights in a king room at the historic Hotel Atwater, a private wedding night chef’s dinner on the balcony of the iconic Catalina Casino, a private cabana and bottomless Champagne brunch at Descanso Beach Club, a voucher for two for a land or sea activity, a hair and makeup artist, fresh flower bouquets and/or boutonnieres for the couple, and transportation to and from Catalina Island via Catalina Express or Catalina Flyer.
