More flights to Greece from Latvian carrier airBaltic

The Latvian carrier with a fleet of highly advanced Airbus A220 aircraft, airBaltic will be operating more and more flights to Greece this summer.   From 13th August the Baltic airline will be increased the schedule to its service from its home base of Rega to the Greek capital Athens, to make it three a week. 

From 4th September airBaltic will  launch new seasonal flights to Thessaloniki from Riga which will be operated twice a week. The new flights will be performed on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic: "We are delighted to announce more connections between Latvia and Greece. As the demand for travel to Greece over the last few weeks has been high, we have adjusted our route map and expanded operations to more popular holiday destinations. At the same time, we are closely monitoring the situation and following strong health measures in order to protect our employees and passengers."

The carrier also recently announced it was starting a service to Rhodes from tarting from Thursday 6th August. This route is scheduled to be operated twice a week and again on one fo the carriers Airbus A220-300 aircraft. 

airBaltic has introduced strong safety measures and the new flight operations follow the recommendations issued by authorities. All passengers on board of airBaltic aircraft are provided with a complimentary basic care kit consisting of a protective face mask and disinfection wipes.
