Zero orders for Boeing in April

The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing didn't take any orders in April, the second month this year it didn't get any new orders.  Another 108 orders for its 737 MAX aircraft that has been grounded over safety and design flaws caused to fate crashes, have been cancelled.

Boeing confirmed on Tuesday that it had delivered just six commercial aircraft last month, bringing the total to 56 for the first four months of 2020, down 67% from last years total.  It delivered four 787 Dreamliners, one 777 and an older version of the 737 jet.

The 108 737 MAX cancellations came on top of the news that 150 orders were scrapped in March and other airlines and leasing firms considering further cancellations.
