American Airlines drop Hong Kong and China flights until the end of April.

American Airlines issued an update on mainland China and Hong Kong routes

The US mega-carrier American Airlines has issued another update regarding flights to mainland China and Hong Kong.  The airline says that due to the reduction in demand it will extend its suspension of flying to and from mainland China and Hong Kong from its hubs of Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX). 

Flights between DFW/LAX and the mainland China are suspended through April 24.
Flights between DFW and Hong Kong (HKG) are suspended through April 23.
Flights between LAX and HKG are suspended through April 24.

American Airlines is just one of a growing number of airlines that have axed or curtailed service to and from mainland China and Hong Kong, including, Delta, British Airways, Lufthansa and Qatar Airways.
