The still lifeless body of a child has been found in the wheel well of an Air France Boeing 777 in Paris following a flight that departed Abidjan, Ivory Coast on Tuesday evening.
The French police estimate the child was aged around 10 and was found in the undercarriage bay of the aircraft. Air France confirmed that "the lifeless body of a stowaway" was discovered at Charles de Gaulle Airport early in the morning on Wednesday. It said it 'deplored this human drama' and had launched an investigation.
