Air France to operate flights to Shanghai and Beijing

One of Europes largest legacy carriers Air France has confirmed it will still operate flights to mainland China.  The airline says starting today, Friday, January 31, it will operate special flights to and from Shanghai and Beijing using volunteer crew members in order to permit customers and employees to return safely.

Air France previously suspended its flights to and from Wuhan on January 22, and the suspension remains in effect until further notice.

Safety is the airline top priority is the health and safety of its customers and employees in France and around the world.  Air France has been working in close collaboration with the national and international health authorities since the outbreak of the coronavirus. After careful consideration of the developing situation, today the airline has decided to suspend all scheduled flights to and from mainland China until February 9, 2020.






Customers with a booking to or from China for departures on or before February 29, 2020, may change their flight until May 31, 2020, or request a refund, at no extra cost. Further details of the airline rebooking policy can be found at www.airfrance.com
