Delta donates $250,000 to the Red Cross to help the Bahamas and releases its August

The US mega-carrier Delta Air Lines has boasted about its donation to the American Red Cross for relief in the Bahamas of $250,000.  "Delta stands in support of the people affected by Hurricane Dorian," said Tad Hutcheson, Delta's Managing Director of Community Engagement. The amount is less than half an hours earnings for the firm's senior executives.

The airline has reported its operating performance for August 2019 which showed the company carried 19.2 million customers across its broad global network, a record for the month of August, including a record system load factor for the month of August.
