Huttopia unveils next generation of glamping accommodations

Huttopia, a global network of glamping getaways, announced new lodging exclusive to Huttopia Southern Maine, debuting this summer. Located in Sanford, Maine, Huttopia’s newest site is a one-of-a-kind vacation destination nestled on the banks of Sand Pond and only a few miles from the state’s most beautiful beaches.

Aiming to help each visitor disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature, Huttopia combines contemporary architecture and resort-like amenities with rustic designs inspired by the tents of historic French-Canadian fur trappers. Huttopia’s second New England location features two new lodging options aiming to provide a greater outdoor experience and comfort for customers to enjoy the nature surrounding our sites:

Trappeur Duo tents: A cozier version of Huttopia’s signature Trappeur tent, these two-person tents are the perfect option for couples or single travelers. They come with a private bathroom and shower, extended living area, large terrace and outdoor BBQ complete with a stove top.
Vista chalets: These modern, five-person chalets feature two bedrooms, a private bathroom and shower, living room and kitchen that opens on a large, picturesque terrace. Designed with families in mind, the Vista chalets combine modern architecture and sophisticated touches with the natural beauty of Maine’s outdoor scene.
“People are creatures of habit and like to go back to the places they feel at home so Huttopia tries to make every visit feel unique to the individual,” said Nash Abdrabo, CEO of Huttopia North America. “We do this by offering something new every year at each of its three North American locations, whether it’s a new type of lodging or additional on-site activities. Huttopia’s uniqueness is in our DNA but we adapt to local markets to fit our customers’ needs.”

Similar to Huttopia’s other North American locations, Huttopia Southern Maine offers an on-site restaurant, which serves local delicacies such as handcrafted wooden oven pizzas, Buddha bowls, salads or crêpes. Visitors to New England’s newest glamping destination can also enjoy a heated pool, general store, playground, family-friendly programming and more.
