Delta certified as Great Place to Work for fourth year in a row

The US mega-carrier Delta has once again been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work. The airline earned this credential for a fourth straight year based on ratings provided by Delta people in anonymous surveys.

Certification is a significant achievement. Using validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work's data-driven methodology, certification confirms seven out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience at Delta.

"We congratulate Delta on their certification," said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Best Workplace List Research at Great Place to Work. "Organizations that earn their employees' trust create great workplace cultures that deliver outstanding business results."

The survey, sent to a random selection of Delta's more than 80,000 people worldwide, was anchored by 87 percent of respondents saying Delta overall is a great place to work. The analysis also shows 92 percent of employees are proud to tell others they work for Delta and 90 percent say they want to work at the company for a long time.

This, the most recent honor Delta has earned from Great Place to Work, joins a crowded shelf of prior honors from the company. Delta's recent awards include Best Workplaces for Diversity (#26), Best Workplaces for Millennials (#61), Best Workplaces for Women (#69), and one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For(#97) by Great Place to Work and Fortune.
