Milan-New York better timing and connectivity

Zanzibar and Mombasa new departure time

Air Italy has today loaded its updated winter 2019/20 schedules for its Milan Malpensa-New York route, adding a frequency on Saturday and changing the time of departure, with the key focus being the optimization of its timing and connectivity via its Milan Malpensa hub.

The schedule has been modified to offer even more convenient connections via Milan.

In addition to the above, for Winter 2019/20 Air Italy has already announced that it will be flying to four fabulous winter destinations: the Maldives, Tenerife, Mombasa and Zanzibar. Now for both Zanzibar and Mombasa, as already planned for Male, the schedules have been amended to late evening departures allowing customers to enjoy a more relaxing night-flight, and arrive in this popular destination in the morning, ready to take advantage of their whole first day of vacation.

“As we grow our network and evolve our product, it is vital that we take every opportunity to provide our customers with the best possible options – be it timing of flight, day of departure, or any other elements of the overall customer experience,” said Rossen Dimitrov, Chief Operating Officer of Air Italy. “These new developments deliver exactly on that ambition, by providing our passengers with greater flexibility and more time to enjoy the amazing destinations that we fly to.”

This winter will be the first time that on leisure flights such as the Maldives, Mombasa and Zanzibar, Air Italy passengers will have the chance to fly on the new Air Italy Business Class, which has been rolled out across the fleet this summer. Featuring an entirely new tableware, in-flight dining menus, cutlery and chinaware that have all been specially crafted to meet travellers’ expectations, Air Italy’s Business Class passengers can also take advantage of the new dine-on-demand service.

Air Italy’s new long-haul Airbus A330-200 offers up to 24 seats in the exclusive Business Class cabin making it possible to fly with maximum comfort in fully lie-flat seats with Wi-Fi service, an extensive inflight entertainment service and the personalized attention from our onboard staff.

The Economy Class cabin with 228 seats also provides Air Italy’s guests with highly personalized service, Wi-Fi and a wide selection of entertainment.
