Four year anniversary for Wizz Air in Tuzla

Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe, is celebrating its 4th anniversary in Tuzla. Since WIZZ started operations from Tuzla in June 2015, the airline has carried more than 2 million passengers to and from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Wizz Air was one of the first airlines to operate commercial international flights from Tuzla and nowadays is the only frequent and constant operating airline in that airport. Since the first flight in June 2015, the airline has continued to invest in Tuzla Canton and now operates 15 routes to 6 countries from Tuzla international airport. The fleet of Tuzla base has grown to 2 A320 aircraft in March 2017, and by 2018 Wizz Air carried over 600 thousand passengers which represents a 7% growth year on year. 



Wizz Air has provided not only travel opportunities between in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the rest of Europe, but also stimulated the local labour market in aviation and tourism and other associated industries. Today Wizz Air employs more than 70 crew members and pilots in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who provide excellent service on every flight. 

Wizz Air has been recognized as The Best Low-Cost Airline as well as the airline with the Best Cabin Crew by our loyal Central and Eastern European customers.
