An American B-52 bomber had to make an 'unscheduled' emergency landing following an incident during a flight early on Monday evening.
The aircraft was seen circling over RAF Mildenhall for some time before making ist landing around 1900 on Monday. "supporting several exercises from a Stateside base".
The emergency services rushed to the aircraft as it came to a halt on the runway and hosed down part of the aircraft.
