A Turkish Airbus A330 sinks off the north-western coast of Turkey...................................on purpose.


A disused and partly dismantled Airbus A330 passenger jet has sunk just off the north-western coast of Turkey - but this isn't some kind of crash or disaster, this sinking was done on purpose to attract diving tourists.

The aircraft, which is around 65 metres long was scuttled in 30 metres of water in the Aegean Sea close to Ibrice Harbour in Edirne province, the UK's BBC reported.
